Trong lúc chờ cơm thấm vị thì rửa sạch cà rốt, ớt chuông và rau cải. Bào vỏ cà rốt, rồi cắt hạt lựu, ớt chuông cắt hạt lựu, còn rau cải thì bỏ lá, cắt nhỏ phần gọng cải. Thêm rau củ quả vào cơm và trộn đều rồi bật bếp trở lại. Chiên đến khi rau củ chín thì tắt bếp.
